LG C9 OLED

It’s difficult to balance OLED technology when it comes to quality and performance, and LG’s C9 OLED TV is the best we’ve seen. Watching the best-in-class screen is amazing due to incredible color performance, powerful visual effects, precise pixel-level graphics, and unmatched black levels.

But not only the OLED display brings the C9 above the competition. LG has equipped a 4K smart TV with advanced HDMI 2.1 ports, that help with a variety of genuinely smart features, and double-whammy integrated voice assistants nobody else can claim: Google Home and Amazon Alexa built right into the smart TV.

The LG C9 has greatly reduced SDR input lag in ‘Game’ status. In the ‘PC ‘ manner, the information lag is higher than the C8, which is pretty odd. With the newest code (05.30.31) we measured the higher signal delay with 4K @ 60Hz + HDR signals. That is good for most people but may remain unsatisfactory for fast-paced HDR games. This is unusual, and we expect it to be cut in the next firmware news.

The LG c9’s performance is also quite impressive. It is a bit slower than the C8, but still very fast. The LG C9 has a lot of features that make it an excellent choice for high-end video players. The LG C9 comes with a built-in microphone, which can be used to record audio or video. It also has a 4K resolution, which is great for video players. The LG C9’s screen resolution is 1080p, which makes it a good choice when you’re looking at a full HD display.

Performance:

Due to outstanding color performance, amazing brightness and incredibly smooth action, the LG C9 has a 65-inch OLED panel that sounds amazing. It’s one of the highest-quality screens we’ve seen, mainly because it’s nearly the same as the OLED panels of last year.

The 10-bit OLED panel produces perfect blacks and has an infinite contrast ratio with just below 1000 Nits, which is slightly brighter than the LG c8. The Automatic Brightness limiter dims down the whole screen and seems to have large bright areas, with the good gamut and color space it is able to produce uniform saturated colors.

If it is viewed at an angle the picture quality is always consistent. Due to the response time which is less than 1 ms motion handling is very good. The LG C9 is the perfect option to choose as a gaming TV as it has Gaming features as auto low latency and input lag 6-14ms.
